TCFSC Learn to Skate Classes Format: 30 minute class + 20 minute practice, and may also sign up for a 10 minute private lesson within your practice time.
Nametags: Your nametag will be available at the registration desk when you sign in. All skaters will wear nametag every week.
Practice Ice: Available for LTS students only. Parents and siblings are not allowed on the ice. Skaters must be able to skate on their own to utilize the monitored practice ice area.
Evaluations: Skaters will be evaluated the 2nd to last class. At the end of class they will be given an evaluation form with the instructor's recommendation.
Record Books: All skaters will receive a record book, this will help your skater keep track on what they need to work on to pass to the next level. Please keep in your skating bag at all times. If you have any questions about a certain element please ask your basic skills instructor.
Badges: Badges for completing each level are available at the registration desk.
Registration: Registrations will be accepted at the registration desk, please come atleast 15-20 minutes prior to class to register. This is open to the public as well as skaters who were not enrolled in the previous session.
Skate Rental: Skates are available for rental for $3.00.
