What is Scrip? Scrip is a fundraiser for YOU!.   You purchase gift cards from over 400 retailers and a percentage of that purchase is yours. For example:     I need some gardening supplies, so I buy a $100 The Home Depot gift card for $100 through my daughters Traverse City Figure Skating Club scrip fundraiser.   I just earned $4.00 because The Home Depot gift cards are available from Great Lakes Scrip Center at 4% less than face value.   When I check out at The Home Depot, I pay with my The Home Depot gift card instead of using a credit or debit card.   Now, of that $4.00 that I just earned, Traverse City Figure Skating Club will keep 10% (so $0.40) and you get to keep 90% to help with your childs figure skating account!
